Dr. Marcel Brysk is certified by the American Board of Disability Analysts and board eligible for the American Board of Dermatology. His experience and special interests include weight control, preventive medicine, and occupational medicine.

He has been practicing weight control medicine for over 35 years and has served as Medical Director of Doctors Weight Clinics for the past seven years. He offers a full range of weight control treatments and is especially interested in applying the newest medications and therapies to support his patients. Dr. Brysk believes in using multiple strategies to help each person succeed on their weight loss journey.

He is a Fellow of the American Board of Disability Analysts and received training at the United States Public Health Service Hospital in San Francisco, with specialty training at Brown University College of Medicine in Providence, RI, the University of Louisville in Kentucky, and the California State Compensation Insurance Fund Conference at UCLA. He is licensed in California, Massachusetts, Indiana, Maryland, and American Samoa.

Dr. Brysk lives in San Diego and is married with five children, ten grandchildren, and one dog. He enjoys travel and has lived and worked in nine U.S. states, though he has spent most of his time in San Diego. His international travels have taken him to France, Israel, Italy, Australia, Peru, and American Samoa.
